“It was fabulous…We had a great time! It was wonderful in showing us some of the inadequacies in our preparation for an emergency. So we learned a lot and it was great, it was hands-on. Our staff was really excited to do it. Coming out of this I think that we've improved tremendously. I would love to have him come back! And I would certainly suggest this to anybody moving forward in a dental office, just to keep themselves on top of how to prepare and how to manage emergencies.”

"What was different about this workshop is there's a really big emphasis on utilizing your team in the office. Versus all of the responsibility being on the doctor and the doctor having to make all the decisions in a very stressful situation. Just being able to practice with the entire team can give me the confidence that I'm able to trust my team members with different roles. In a stressful situation, the doctor can be a little more calm after going through this."

We went through different scenarios and really had hands-on experience using our own equipment as to how to best address potential emergencies in our own practice. "So I thought this was really great, like “surpassed my expectations” course! A lot of these can be really boring, and not interactive and you just know you go to your BLS courses. Your PALS courses are required, but you don't really practice with your staff or the people you're actually going to be handling emergencies with.
I think this was really great to see the people you see every day, you work with every day, and see how you guys work together, with your different personalities, and getting people who are uncomfortable in certain circumstances to become comfortable doing a different position or maybe being comfortable in a position that's a better fit for their personality. So…I think it'll make us more comfortable to handle emergencies in the future and I would definitely recommend this course for any office."

“My favorite part of having Dr. Marn providing our anesthesia is his very thoughtful approach to each individual case taking into account the patient and the procedure to provide individualized care… I would feel very comfortable having Dr. Marn sedate any of my family members.”

“I’ve worked with many anesthesiologists, and oftentimes, the anesthesia can just be messy, which is most importantly dangerous for the patient but also takes away from the accuracy of the procedure. The main advantage that I’ve found….has been the consistent care that’s given to the patient and that I can approach my each and every procedure….knowing that I’m going to have the most uninterrupted time to be able to treat that patient surgically with precision and knowing that they’re incredibly safe throughout.”

"My favorite part is that I know Richard cares about what he does and brings his “A” game when he shows up and is prepared. When the case is finished, and the parents are super grateful for their service. It’s great seeing the patient wake up with minimal crying and they can follow the discharge command.
